Help with Bankruptcy Fees Charities Help with Fees

I’ve been saving for ages to raise my court costs for bankruptcy,  I need Help with Bankruptcy Fees Charities Help with Fees but I’m on low income and it’s almost impossible – is there any help out there?

The first thing to point is that from 6th April 2016 there is one universal fee of £680 for bankruptcy applications and the former ‘Court Fee Remissions’ for the unemployed / pensioners no longer apply.

Something else that needs to be considered is that if your debt level is less than £20,000.00 you might qualify for a Debt Relief Order in which case the fee is just £90. Check the criteria online then visit your local Citizens advice bureau to proceed.

Utility companies have trust funds set up to assist those in need and in particular, the water companies. Severn Trent has a Trust Fund for this purpose, but you should also approach your own supplier. EDF also offers help, as does the British Legion, British Gas and various Trade Unions. Try logging onto ‘Turn2us.gov.uk ‘ if you need more ideas.
