When I went bankrupt the only bank which would give me an account was Barclays, but I’m worried that since Barclaycard was one of my creditors they might start taking money from my account. Can this happen?
No they can’t because you no longer owe the money to Barclaycard. When you went bankrupt the Official Receiver would have advised all of the creditors concerned and that’s the end of it. We have heard of cases where they have tried it on, but the money is always returned.
