Where can I open a bank account in bankruptcy?

There are a number of banks that have no problem with bankrupt clients. The Barclays basic ‘Cash’ Account’ and the Cooperative Bank ‘Cashminder’ account are two that come to mind, though both Lloyds and Nationwide will also help provided it is a basic account. Please note that Bankruptcy UK offers a full bankruptcy service, but you are still welcome to call us with any questions as we know how important it is that everyone is clear on what they can and can’t do.

Bankruptcy UK specialises in taking people through the bankruptcy process in a straightforward manner. We will assess your circumstances then submit the bankruptcy application online. Court appearances are no longer required for bankruptcy. Call us for a chat about your circumstances on 01425 600129.
