  2. [...] My Ex is considering declaring himself bankrupt, we have a property which is in joint names. He left the property over a year ago and I live there with our daughter. I asked him to sign the house over to me as he is no longer helping being the mortgage, but he has now been told if he declares himself bankrupt then this transfer would be invalid. Is this correct? If so what period would he need to wait to declare bankruptcy before it having any come back on the property. Also if he does go bankcrupt would the property have to be sold or would they just put a court order on his share of the equity.Source: co.uk [...]

Your credit score doesn’t just go up automatically. You have to get it kick started. You will need to get your credit score and from there you will see the entries that you can have removed. These are the entries that are more than 6 years old. I would also suggest that you apply for the credit builder credit card… Go onto http://www.icreditbuilder.co.uk and fill in the application form. It will take you through to the Vanquis credit card which will give you a limit of up to £1000 and its specifically for people that are on their way up opposed to on their way down…
